Meet the Founder
Annie Granatstein
Drawing on a one-of-a-kind background spanning entertainment, media, strategy, and production, Annie has built a career out of finding the stories that matter and placing them where culture will notice. At Marriott, she founded the company’s first Global Content Marketing Department and, in just four years, steered it to more than 130 honors from the Webby, Telly, and Shorty Awards. She led the brand into streaming with two film series on Amazon Prime Video, launched channels on TikTok and YouTube, created first-ever partnerships with The Washington Post, Vox, and Rolling Stone, elevated its flagship podcast, and transformed its digital travel magazine into an immersive, publisher-caliber experience.
Before Marriott, Annie ran multimedia content at Edelman for clients like HPE and eBay, and earlier founded The Washington Post’s content agency, where she pioneered award-winning programs for brands from Mercedes and Coca-Cola to Ikea, AT&T, and Hulu. A Webby and Shorty Awards juror and a frequent speaker at SXSW, Sundance, and Content Marketing World, she was named a Top Woman in Media by Folio. Annie began her career in Hollywood as an entertainment attorney and producer, grounding her creative leadership in both business rigor and storytelling craft. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins and earned her JD from UCLA Law, graduating seventh in her class.
